Calling musicians of all levels AND music lovers! Join Emerald City Music for Chamber Music Karaoke, an open invitation to share in the joys of music-making with friends! Whether you're interested in performing a piece, reading chamber music, or just want to hang, this event is for you!
Think of this like your favorite karaoke bar. Grab a drink, enjoy each other’s company, and if you want to perform a piece you prepared, let us know in your registration form and we will create a spotlight for you!
If you want to read chamber music, you can sign up with your group (or on your own!) to be added to the queue. Our friendly ECM staff and volunteers will be there to help you at the sign-up stand!
Don’t want to play? No problem! Just come to hang, meet fellow music-lovers, and enjoy the vibe!
This event is open to everyone. Join us and bring your friends! BYOM (bring your own music), pianist not included. ;-)

The Westerlies, “an arty quartet…mixing ideas from jazz, new classical, and Appalachian folk” (The New York Times), hold a singular space in modern music. From Carnegie Hall to Coachella, the GRAMMY-nominated quartet has upended presumptions of the brass tradition to create music that is “folk-like and composerly, lovely and intellectually rigorous” (NPR Music).
